NPR CEO Gave Every Staffer A Powerball Ticket

NPR CEO JARL MOHN gave his staff an additional dose of POWERBALL fever for WEDNESDAY's drawing, buying each of them -- all 800 -- a ticket for the record $1.5 billion jackpot, reports CURRENT.ORG.
MOHN's gift, however, came with a catch, -- namely that if anyone won the jackpot, he or she would have to give half of it to NPR.
None of the staffers appear to be among the three jackpot winners at this time, and at least one staffer objected to the gift, tweeting that "Gambling is addictive & regressive. I don't want to support it in any way. I don't think this is cute."
