The FLORIDA Supreme Court has ordered the suspension from law practice of three of BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE's attorneys in his defense against a lawsuit by radio rival TODD SCHNITT.
The court acted upon a recommendation from the FLORIDA Bar's referee for the case, retired PINELLAS COUNTY Circuit Judge W. DOUGLAS BAIRD, who recommended that the attorneys be disbarred for their conduct in defending BUBBA. The Supreme Court gave the attorneys, STEPHEN DIACO, ADAM FILTHAUT, and ROBERT ADAMS, 30 days to stop practicing and may accept no new clients while the Court considers permanent disbarment.
The three were found guilty by the bar of setting up SCHNITT's attorney PHIL CAMPBELL for a DUI arrest and with two of them ending up in possession of CAMPBELL's briefcase (NET NEWS 8/27/15).
BUBBA is now hosting mornings on BEASLEY Rock WBRN-F (98.7 NO RULES ROCK)/TAMPA. SCHNITT is co-hosting mornings at iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WOR-A/NEW YORK and his syndicated afternoon show for COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS.
