The WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL reports that CURTIS MEDIA GROUP News-Talk WSJS-A/WINSTON-SALEM is shifting to air more sports, adding the regional SCOTT HAMILTON show, hosted by the WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL sports columnist, for 3-6p (ET) weekdays and moving the formerly tape-delayed regionally-syndicated DAVID GLENN show from evenings to noon-3p, with CBS SPORTS RADIO taking over the evening slot.
HAMILTON and GLENN's shows also air on sister Sports trimulcast WSML-A-W283BT/GRAHAM-BURLINGTON-WCOG-A-W284BN/GREENSBORO-WMFR-A/HIGH POINT (TRIAD SPORTS NETWORK).
The changes mean that OM MATT CLARK comes off the air but remains with the cluster, and the station is dropping DAVE RAMSEY's syndicated financial Talk show and an hour of WESTWOOD ONE's CLARK HOWARD show, The morning news block remains on the schedule, as do the 6p simulcast of NBC affiliate WXII-TV's news and a local news half-hour after that.
