Big Boy And Emmis Settle Lawsuit

EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS and BIG BOY have reached a settlement in the legal battle over his move from Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR (POWER 106)/L.A,  to crosstown rival iHEARTMEDIA Urban KRRL (REAL 92.3), reports TMZ.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, but each party will pay its own legal fees.

EMMIS had tried to get the court to block his move back in FEBRUARY (NET NEWS 2/11/15). Their contention was that they had not been allowed to match iHEARTMEDIA's $3.5 million offer. 

BIG BOY had been employed for more than 20 years by POWER 106.  He officially debuted at REAL 92.3 in MARCH.  (NET NEWS 3/4/15)
