Carl Wolfson To End KXRY-LP (XRAY.fm)/Portland Show

CASCADE EDUCATIONAL BROADCAST SYSTEM noncommercial low power Variety KXRY-LP-K296FT (XRAY.fm)/PORTLAND talk show host CARL WOLFSON is ending his show, reports WILLAMETTE WEEK.

WOLFSON said in a Facebook post that has since been deleted that he is ending his "CARL IN THE MORNING" show, which joined XRAY.fm in MARCH 2014 after being dropped in 2008 by crosstown iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KPOJ-A after that station flipped to Sports, because of his health and finances, the "declining state of political discourse," and the "vitriol of so many BERNIE (SANDERS) supporters," adding, "I have too little faith in politics to continue."  He added that he "will probably stay on for a couple more weeks (no longer) so XRAY can get the slot filled."
