Facebook Q4 Up 30%, Profits More Than Doubled

FACEBOOK reported Q4 revenue of $5.84 billion, up 30% from $3.85 billion in 2014. Profits more than doubled, rising from $701 million in Q4 2014 to $1.56 billion. Revenue for the full year was $17.93 billion, up 44% year over year, and its profit for the full year was $3.69 billion, up from $2.94 billion in 2014.
Mobile advertising revenue represented approximately 80% of advertising revenue for Q4 '15, up from 69% in Q4 '15.
Monthly active users rose 14% to 1.59 billion, with daily users crossing the 1 billion barrier in DECEMBER.
"2015 was a great year for FACEBOOK," Founder/CEO MARK ZUCKERBERG said in a statement. "Our community continued to grow and our business is thriving. We continue to invest in better serving our community, building our business, and connecting the world."
