Scotty McCreery, Mercury Nashville/Interscope Part Ways

ALL ACCESS has confirmed that SCOTTY MCCREERY has parted ways with MERCURY NASHVILLE/INTERSCOPE. The "AMERICAN Idol" alum signed with the label shortly after his 2011 victory on the reality competition. He went on to become the youngest artist and first male Country artist to debut his first studio album atop the BILLBOARD Top 200.
"I enjoyed being on MERCURY NASHVILLE/INTERSCOPE, and I appreciate all the great people who worked hard on my behalf while I was there," said MCCREERY, who sold more than 2.5 million albums while signed with the label. "I am excited about what the future holds and the opportunities being presented to me."
