TEMPLO APOSTOLES Y PROFETAS BETHEL is selling Spanish Religion KZGC-F/GARDEN CITY, KS to RADIO VIDA KANSAS, INC. for $50,000.
In other filings with the FCC, TIMBER RIDGE MINISTRIES, INC. is selling Southern Gospel WVRS (THE POINT 90.1)/GORE, VA to POINT FM MINISTRIES, INC. for $25,000. The buyer has been programming the station under a Programming Services Agreement since NOVEMBER.
The previously-undisclosed price by which COLONIAL MEDIA AND ENTERTAIMNENT is buying Adult Hits WAVL-A (THE MOUNTAIN)/APOLLO. PA from EVANGEL HEIGHTS ASSEMBLY OF GOD is $50,000 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing. COLONIAL has filed to move W230BO/OLEAN, NY to simulcast the new acquisition; it has been operating the station under the Time Brokerage Agreement since DECEMBER.
SPORTSRAD, INC. is selling Sports WSFZ-A (SUPERSPORT 930)/JACKSON, MS to CLAY E. HOLLADAY's NEW SOUTH RADIO, INC. for $1. NEW SOUTH has agreed to a deal with S. BRYAN EUBANK, who will lease time to continue to air JACKSON ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL football and basketball games and a SUNDAY 11a-1p (CT) sports talk show.
While a community group continues to collect donations in an attempt to block the deal, PACIFIC LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, INC. has filed the formal paperwork to sell News-Talk-Jazz KPLU/TACOMA-SEATTLE plus KVIX/PORT ANGELES, WA, KPLI/OLYMPIA, WA, KPLK/SEDRO-WOOLLEY, WA, K204BI/BELLINGHAM, WA, K211AP/CENTRALIA, WA, K212AG/RAYMOND, WA, K221FR/WEST SEATTLE, WA, K265DP/ABERDEEN, WA, K284BM/LONGVIEW, WA, K288GG/MOUNT VERNON, WA, and K244EV/ARIEL, WA to the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON BOARD OF REGENTS for $8 million. The deal does not include the KPLU call letters and provides that the seller will, before closing, terminate all employees. The buyer plans to merge the stations' operations with those at its News-Talk KUOW/SEATTLE.
DAN DEEB is selling his 49% interest and DEANNA STENMAN is selling her 1% interest in RESONATE HAWAII, licensee of Top 40 KHBC (THE WAVE @92FM) and Alternative KIPA (102.7 THE BEACH)/HILO, HI; Top 40 KHWI (THE WAVE @92FM)/HOLUALOA, HI; Alternative KTBH-F (102.7 THE BEACH)/KURTISTOWN, HI; and Hot AC KWYI/KAWAIHAE, HI to 30% owner CARLA MARIA MORRIS for $50 (DEEB) and $1 (STENMAN). MORRIS, from AUSTRALIA, will hold 80% of the licensee and SALLY DOBSON's EL GORDO TRUST, also from AUSTRALIA, will own 20%, with WILLIAM ZUCKER as Manager; DEEB is resigning as Manager and Member, and STENMAN is also exiting as Member.
COUNTRYSIDE BROADCASTING, INC. is selling W228DA/CENTRALIA, IL to NRG LICENSE SUB, LLC for $34,500. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Country WJBD-A/SALEM, IL.
YOUR CHRISTIAN COMPANION NETWORK, INC. is selling K274CK/LAYTONVILLE, CA to CALIFORNIA BROADCASTING COMPANY, LLC for $23,000. The station plans to rebroadcast Regional Mexican KZNB-A (EL PATRON)/PETALUMA, CA.
AUGUSTA RADIO FELLOWSHIP INSTITUTE, INC. is selling W241AK/OCILLA, GA to BROOMFIELD BROADCASTING OF LEXINGTON, INC. for $30,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Oldies WDEK-A (1170 THE DECK)/LEXINGTON-COLUMBIA, SC.
TEMPLO PIEDRA ANGULAR has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KMRA/MONAHANS, TX because it is "still working on equipment and inquiring into new second studio location."
