CENTENNIAL BROADCASTING Hot AC WINC/WINCHESTER, VA helped raise $71,684.35 for the CHILDSAFE CENTER and BLUE RIDGE HOSPICE through the ‘Chain of Checks’ campaign that concluded on DECEMBER 31st. The campaign’s theme was “Helping Kids Heal”.
CHILDSAFE Exec. Dir. KELLY BOBER said, “These funds will enable us to not only continue to provide therapy services to children who have suffered the devastation of abuse, but will also help us reach even more children in the upcoming year who would have otherwise gone without the benefits of therapy services. This money will help our children move from being child abuse victims…to child abuse survivors.”
BLUE RIDGE HOSPICE Dir./Development JEANNE MEZZATESTA said, “With this generous gift over 2,000 children can now benefit from much-needed grief counseling and CAMP HOPE. This impacts not only the children we serve, but their families, friends, and future generations. When grief is not addressed, it can change lives and outcomes, and this donation will make the difference for so many.”
