Pop-punk icons GOOD CHARLOTTE have signed a worldwide agreement with KOBALT LABEL SERVICES, covering the band's forthcoming album, scheduled to release later this year. The agreement will encompass the full range of services offered by KLS to its clients, including digital distribution, physical distribution, marketing, international marketing and synch licensing.
With five studio albums, two collaborations and a brief hiatus under their belt, GOOD CHARLOTTE continues to tour the country ahead of their sixth album release. Their most recent single, “Makeshift Love,” was released last year, soon after coming off a brief time away, with the BACK TO THE FUTURE HEARTS tour coming up in the UK and Ireland.
The band's two brothers, BENJI and JOEL MADDEN, commented on the signing: "If there's anything two decades in music will teach you, it's that the team is just as important as the songs. KOBALT is made up of a talented group of people, experienced in the work it takes to execute. We're excited to work with this company on a global scale and bring the best music we've ever made to people everywhere."
Added KOBALT Pres. RICHARD SANDERS: “BENJI and JOEL have forged ahead on their own terms in redefining the artist to fan relationship. They are innovators both musically and in how they interact with their audience. All of us at KOBALT share their vision for world domination!”
