Price For WNFN/Nashville: $3.75 Million

The price for CUMULUS spinoff trustee JOULE BROADCASTING, LLC's sale of Top 40 WNFN (i106)/MILLERSVILLE-NASHVILLE, TN to MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is $3.75 million, according to the contract filed with the FCC.  The price was undisclosed when the sale was announced TUESDAY (NET NEWS 2/9).

In other filings with the FCC, KENAI BROADCASTING LLC is selling News-Talk KENI-A/WASILLA, AK, and K296FP/WILLOW CREEK, AK to ALASKA MULTIMEDIA, LLC for $225,800 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing.

TED W. AUSTIN, JR.'s INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY RADIO, INC. is selling Religion KRTK-A/CHUBBUCK, ID to SNAKE RIVER RADIO LLC for $80,000.  The seller recently sold K224EO/IDAHO FALLS, ID to the buyer as well, with $50,000 for that deal credited to the KRTK purchase.

POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE RADIO, INC. is selling W281AJ/RIPLEY, WV; W285DZ/JACKSON, OH; and W234CB/WISE, VA to WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORPORATION for $210,000.  The buyer plans to move the translators to rebroadcast Southern Gospel WJLS-A/BECKLEY, WV; News-Talk WAJR-A/MORGANTOWN, WV; and News-Talk WCHS-A/CHARLESTON, WV, respectively.

COMMUNITY PUBLIC RADIO, INC. is selling K222CL/SONCY, TX to ADRIANNA AGUIRRE's WORLD BROADCAST & TELEVISION, LLC for $50,000.

AUGUSTA RADIO FELLOWSHIP INSTITUTE, INC. is selling W231BB/LUMPKIN, GA to BEVERLY BROADCASTING COMPANY, LLC for $30,000.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Oldies WDTN-A/DAYTON, TN.

SUNNYLANDS BROADCASTING, LLC is selling K227CG and K251BW/CENTRALIA, WA to NEW AGE MEDIA, LTD. for $60,000.  the buyer plans to move the translators to rebroadcast AC KWLE-A (THE WHALE)/ANACORTES, WA and AC KRPA-A (THE WHALE)/OAK HARBOR, WA, respectively.

LYLE DODGE is selling K231CA/KENNEWICK, WA to XANA OREGON, LLC for $1,000 plus filing, legal, and engineering fees.  The translator will rebroadcast Triple A KQFO (100.1 THE OASIS)/PASCO's HD3 channel.

WRVM, INC. has filed for Silent STAs for W264BK/WAUKAU, WI; W263BS/RHINELANDER, WI; W254BP/WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI; and W246AY and W250AV/PARK FALLS, WI;  as it prepares to relocate the translators.

And LIGHT OF LIFE MINISTRIES, INC. has requested an extension of its silent STA for WHPF/PITSTON FARM, ME while it tries to find a buyer after deciding to sell the station "due to a lack of financial support and the unsustainable costs of program delivery and music licensing fees."
