“LA QUE BUENA” will offer a Regional Mexican format, combining different elements from MEXICO’s rural and urban areas," he continued. "This format is the #1 most-programmed format for Spanish-language radio in the U.S. We know we’ll be able to appeal to a broad range of people who grew up with this as their favorite music.”
“Over a 29-year period we previously started three FM stations here, all of which continue to have a strong presence in the EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD area," MCKENZIE RIVER BROADCASTING’s Pres./co-owner JOHN TILSON said. "Our stations operate in the public interest. We are truly excited about this opportunity, with KEQB, to serve a new audience and a growing community with a Spanish language-formatted station."
