WWMX (Mix 106.5)/Baltimore Radiothon Raises $1.1 Million For Johns Hopkins Children's Center

CBS RADIO Top 40 WWMX (MIX 106.5)/BALTIMORE has raised $1.1 million over two days for the JOHNS HOPKINS CHILDREN'S CENTER during its 27th annual MIX 106.5 RADIOTHON. This marks the second consecutive year the station has raised more than $1 million for HOPKINS, bringing the total amount donated over the years to more than $20 million.
MIX listeners phoned in pledges and also donated online during the two-day broadcast, which took place on FEBRUARY 17th and 18th.
The MIX 106.5 RADIOTHON is the longest running in the country, with the funds raised used for medical research, equipment and also various items needed by pediatric patients and their families, which may not be covered by insurance.
