Condolences to family and friends of longtime radio and TV writer and producer BERYL PFIZER, who died FEBRUARY 12th of natural causes in NEW YORK CITY at 87, according to THE NEW YORK TIMES.
PFIZER was a writer on NBC's "MONITOR" and a producer for NBC radio's "THE WOMEN'S PROGRAM," just two shows in a lengthy career that included writing on TV for ARTHUR GODFREY, DAVE GARROWAY, EDWIN NEWMAN, JOHN CHANCELLOR, and many more luminaries. She won one Emmy award for "ASK NBC NEWS" in 1980 and was nominated three times.
