Director, actor, and podcast network founder KEVIN SMITH has been announced as the final keynote speaker for PODCAST MOVEMENT, the podcasting conference set for JULY 6-8 in CHICAGO.

SMITH, the director and actor (as "Silent Bob") of movies like "CLERKS," "CHASING AMY," and "DOGMA," founded the SMODCAST network and hosts several shows for it, including the flagship SMODCAST, FAT MAN ON BATMAN, HOLLYWOOD BABBLE-ON, and TALK SALAD AND SCRAMBLED EGGS.

Other speakers at the conference will include GIMLET MEDIA's ALEX BLUMBERG, "DEATH, SEX AND MONEY" host ANNA SALE, "SNAP JUDGEMENT" host GLYNN WASHINGTON, and "ANOTHER ROUND WITH HEBEN AND TRACY" hosts HEBEN NIGATU and TRACY CLAYTON.
