WRAT Announces 'The Blood Drive Challenge'

GREATER MEDIA Rocker WRAT/MONMOUTH-OCEAN, NJ is teaming up with the CENTRAL JERSEY BLOOD CENTER and the AMERICAN RED CROSS to kick off "THE BLOOD DRIVE CHALLENGE."
The longest charity promotion in the station's history, "THE BLOOD DRIVE CHALLENGE" will see WRAT hitting all the high schools of MONMOUTH and OCEAN counties throughout the school year in efforts to increase the NEW JERSEY blood supply at a critical time. The high school that donates the highest percentage of blood will win tickets to SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE for the entire junior and senior classes. Anyone over the age of 18 who donates will have a chance at winning a 2006 NISSAN SENTRA
The program kicks off in mid-OCTOBER and will last until early JUNE 2007. WRAT will be present at many of the drives with games and giveaways for the students as they wait their turn to give blood.
