BMG US and PULSE MUSIC PUBLISHING have partnered in a co-publishing arrangement with up-and-coming AUSTRALIAN songwriter and performer MEG MAC ahead of the release of her debut album.
With sold-out AUSTRALIAN tours and festival performances, MEG MAC was nominated for two ARIA AWARDS in 2015. She was also named Unearthed Artist of 2014 by influential AUSTRALIAN radio network TRIPLE J.
Now signed to LYOR COHEN's 300 RECORDS, her debut U.S. single, "Roll Up Your Sleeves," made the Top 30 U.S. BILLBOARD Alternative Charts. Following a much-talked-about SXSW debut last year, MEG MAC toured with CLEAN BANDIT and supported D’ANGELO on a U.S. tour.
BMG EVP Writer Services THOMAS SCHERER commented: “We fell in love with MEG MAC’s smoldering vocals and soulful songs which have earned her worldwide praise. We are extremely enthusiastic about signing such a true talent and providing her with a creative home during this momentous moment and beyond in her blossoming career.”
PULSE Co-CEO SCOTT CUTLER added: “We are thrilled to be working with the great MEG MAC, whose powerful voice moved us from the first moment we heard it. She is that rare career artist whose music is both rooted in the past and reaching fearlessly into the future.”
MEG MAC, currently in L.A. working on songs for her upcoming album, commented: “I am thrilled to be a part of the BMG/PULSE family, who are a dedicated team of creative people.”
