The COLORADO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION (CBA) held its annual CBA AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE event this WEEKEND, and TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Country KUAD/FT. COLLINS, CO MD BRIAN GARY walked away with the REX HOWELL AWARD for Broadcaster Of The Year. KUAD also earned recognition in the categories Best Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program Major Market with "GUESS WHAT THE CHICKEN SAYS," and Best Use Of New Media Major Market for "TEACHER TUESDAY."

Additional honorees included CHERRY CREEK RADIO Country KKXK/GRAND JUNCTION, CO who received the award for Best Public Service Announcement Medium Market, Best Sales Event Or Live Remote Medium Market, Best Afternoon Show Medium Market with DJ ROBERTS, and Best Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program with "THERESA'S SPORTS WEEK REWIND." BONNEVILLE Country KYGO/DENVER received the award for Best Midday Show Metro with "MIDDAYS WITH MELISSA."
