Former Radio Financial Show Host, Philadelphia Daily News Columnist Harry Gross Dies At 92

Condolences to family and friends of longtime PHILADELPHIA financial radio show host and PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS columnist HARRY GROSS, who died SUNDAY of heart failure in RYDAL, PA at 92, according to the paper. GROSS retired late last year from his DAILY NEWS column.
GROSS hosted financial advice shows starting in 1978 for the old WCAU-A (now WPHT-A) and moved to WWDB (now WRDW) in 1990 when WCAU flipped to Oldies, leaving WWDB in 1996, and wrote his column from 1981 until 2015. A Certified Public Accountant, he was active in continuing education for CPAs and in encouraging blood donation.
