In CANADA, the CRTC has approved changes to the FM transmitter approved in 2015 to replace the AM facility of RADIO ACADIE LTÉE French Acadian-Country-Oldies CJVA-A/CARAQUET, NB.  The FM station will move from the CARAQUET water tower to the CBC's existing GRAND ANSE, NB transmitter site, increasing from Class B (28,000 watts at 65.7 meters above average terrain) to Class C1 (100,000 watts at 96.6 meters).
