Media Monitors Political Spot Update: Sanders Takes Lead, Clinton Second

MEDIA MONITORS' latest check on radio ad spending by the presidential candidates, covering MARCH 11-20, shows BERNIE SANDERS on top with 8.931 spots (7.936 bought by his campaign, 99 by the NATIONAL NURSES UNITED PATIENT PROTECTION PAC). HILLARY CLINTON was second with 6.357 (4,536 from her campaign, 1,821 from her PAC PRIORITIES USA ACTION); TED CRUZ was third with a total of 1,194 between his campaign and two PACs. DONALD TRUMP's campaign bought 760 spots, and the NEW DAY FOR AMERICA Super PAC bought 313 ads for JOHN KASICH.
On the negative side, anti-TRUMP spots led the way with 926 radio spots bought by the OUR PRINCIPLES PAC, while the CONSERVATVE SOLUTIONS PAC bought 31 spots against KASICH.
