For the next seven days, SYRACUSE radio listeners can listen to the combined programming of GALAXY COMMUNICATIONS Classic Hits WZUN (SUNNY 102)/PHOENIX-SYRACUSE and sister Classic Hits WSEN/BALDWINSVILLE-SYRACUSE on both frequencies. Beginning MARCH 28th, all the music and the deejays will be heard exclusively on 102.1.
Originating from the SUNNY 102 studios on Walton Street in SYRACUSE, GARY DUNES, DIANE WADE and JOHN CARUCCI join BIG MIKE and RICK GARY for a full on-air staff. DUNES is now on the air with BIG MIKE & CINDY in the morning and JOHN CARUCCI has joined RICK GARY in the afternoon from 3-7p. DIANE WADE is on air from noon-3p.
GALAXY COMMUNICATIONS CEO ED LEVINE said, “We are thrilled to be able to continue the legacy of WSEN by combining it with SUNNY 102 to create a superstation. We’ve expanded our playlists to incorporate a tremendously wide variety of music. Plus, we preserved several jobs for some of SYRACUSE’s best-known radio personalities. It’s a great day.”
