A NEW YORK POST reporter credits CUMULUS News-Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK host CURTIS SLIWA for protecting him from an angry panhandler on a subway train in MANHATTAN.
In ZACHARY KUSSIN's article, the writer describes an incident on an Uptown 1 train in which a man in a GUARDIAN ANGELS uniform managed to talk down the panhandler, who was yelling at the writer soon after boarding the train through the rear door. Only after posting pictures of his protector on Instagram did KUSSIN learn that the GUARDIAN ANGEL in question was the group's founder, SLIWA, himself.
