Hauser To Launch Cool Springs Music

Longtime radio promoter and promotions guru, CHRIS HAUSER, has finally decided to take the next step and launch his own record label, COOL SPRINGS MUSIC. The new label will officially open SEPTEMBER 1st, and will feature radio-friendly artists from several different CCM genres.
CEO-Pres. HAUSER commented, "This has been a dream of mine for a long, long time. From my early days at MYRRH, to the many labels and friends I've assisted along the way, I've always hoped that one day I'd be able to start something from the ground up, and serve the artists from every camera angle. This new venture will allow me to do just that, and I've been able to build a team of respected professionals that I believe will be second to none. We look forward to introducing and showcasing the new talent for the very first time at MOMENTUM 2016."
Joining HAUSER in this new venture will be VP Prom. MATT INGLE, VP Publicity BRIAN MAYES, and VP A&R MICHAEL W SMITH. Each VP is in the process of building their respective teams. COOL SPRING MUSIC is currently negotiating a distribution agreement, which will be announced soon.
When queried about the artist roster, HAUSER was somewhat tight-lipped, saying only that there will be three new emerging artists, and, adding with a big smile, two very well known, currently successful acts.
There is a very short list of A-artists that are currently out of contract or nearing renewal. MERCYME, THIRD DAY and JEREMY CAMP are the only ones ALL ACCESS could confirm. When asked about those three specifically, HAUSER grinned again and said, "well, two out of three ain't bad."
HAUSER will be wearing multiple hats between now and SEPTEMBER, as he winds down his current independent promotion contracts, and transitions into label ownership. COOL SPRINGS MUSIC has leased office space on CAROTHERS PARKWAY, with formal announcement coming soon.
