RADIATE MEDIA, an independent provider of broadcast traffic solutions in the UNITED STATES, has entered into an option agreement with GLOBAL TRAFFIC NETWORK (GTN), granting GTN an exclusive option agreement to buy substantially all of the assets of RADIATE.
“With RADIATE ’s data and technology coupled with GTN’s global presence, we will be able to significantly improve the experience of traffic consumers in the U.S. and abroad,” said RADIATE MEDIA CEO CHRIS ROTHEY. “We will be able to service our affiliate partners and aggressively grow our network while remaining the only independent traffic network in the U.S.”
“The decision by GTN to enter into this agreement with RADIATE MEDIATE signals big changes coming to the traffic space for broadcasters in the U.S. and abroad. RADIATE MEDIA has a rich history of innovative traffic technology and this deal will allow us to offer these services to radio and TV broadcasters – in the U.S. and beyond - with the best traffic and data solutions on the market,” said RADIATE Pres. IVAN SHULMAN. “We want to let all broadcast companies know that they will continue to have a very viable option to receive a premium product without giving their valuable inventory to a competitor. We are focusing on the needs of radio and TV broadcasters and providing them with premium products now and in the future.”
