The latest inductees for TRIBUNE News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO's WGN RADIO WALK OF FAME have been announced. Morning host STEVE COCHRAN listed the new class on his show this morning. The induction will be held MAY 27th and broadcast live on WGN.
The inductees will include Ag and Business Reporter (1984-present) MAX ARMSTRONG, host FLOYD BROWN (with WGN in 1971-99), engineer (1970-2005) JIM CAROLLO, former VP/GM DAN FABIAN (at WGN in 1965-96), WALLY PHILLIPS SHOW producer and Human Resources Coordinator (1967-2008) MARILYN MILLER, News Director (1982-2005) TOM PETERSEN, and host/critic (1975-present) DEAN RICHARDS.
“In this year’s WALK OF FAME class we honor a great combination of compelling characters with golden voices mixed with powerful personalities from behind the scenes,” said VP/Programming and Content TODD MANLEY. “It takes more than a microphone to make memorable moments on the radio.”
