UMPG Signs Joe Jonas To Exclusive Worldwide Publishing Deal

JOE JONAS, the front man of REPUBLIC RECORDS band DNCE, has signed an exclusive, worldwide publishing deal with UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP (UMPG), it was announced today by Chairman/CEO JODY GERSON.

UMPG will represent JONAS’ new songs for DNCE including their debut single, “Cake By The Ocean,” which has gone platinum in the U.S., has been Top 10 at Pop radio. “Cake By The Ocean” also went Top 10 on iTUNES in over 10 countries, and has generated over 150 million streams on SPOTIFY.

Commented GERSON: “It takes a very special artist to achieve worldwide success in one group, and then to achieve that same kind of success again in another one. JOE JONAS is that rare talent, having scored hits as a singer and songwriter first with the JONAS BROTHERS and now with DNCE. His creativity, hard work and passion are remarkable and I'm thrilled to have him join UMPG’s roster of great artists and writers."
