WBT/Charlotte Host Keith Larson's Motorcycle Ride Helps Kids Battle Illness

GREATER MEDIA Talk WBT (1110 AM-99.3 FM)/CHARLOTTE, NC, host KEITH LARSON's 14th annual MOTORCYCLE RIDE to help kids battling life-threatening illnesses and their families will take place SATURDAY, APRIL 30th. Riders can sign up for this police-escorted event and non-riders can make a contribution straight to the kids and families directly through a 501c3 non-profit.
KEITH'S RIDE is escorted by the MECKLENBURG COUNTY SHERIFF's OFFICE MOTOR UNIT and supported by several other law enforcement agencies. THE RIDE starts at MATTHEWS FUN MACHINES at 10a (ET), and ends at the NEWS TALK 1110 WBT studios at 1:30 p (ET) for a lunch from CANTINA 1511 and live music from LAKE STREET DRIVE.
THE RIDE supports the CLUB LAMA KIDS FUND, started by LARSON, who wanted a way to easily help more of the "RIDE KIDS" year round. Each ride itself benefits several specific local children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. The basic cost for a RIDER and passenger to enjoy the whole day including breakfast, lunch, t-shirts, etc., remains $50. Non-rider participants can make a secure donation on the registration page.
Pre-registration is open now until 12p (ET) on APRIL 29th here. Day-of registration opens at 8:30a (ET). Great camera opportunities for KEITH'S RIDE at 10a (ET) when riders depart and at 2p- (ET) when riders return to the WBT studios.
RIDER fees and donations go straight to the charities, while WBT sponsors and WBT RADIO cover the event costs to make KEITH'S RIDE 14 possible.
