LOS ANGELES DODGERS radio broadcasters RICK MONDAY and CHARLEY STEINER have inked new multi-year agreements to continue to call DODGER games on iHEARTMEDIA/DODGERS Sports KLAC-A (AM 570 LA SPORTS)/LOS ANGELES and the DODGERS RADIO NETWORK.
“RICK and CHARLEY have been a great team in the broadcast booth,” said DODGERS EVP/Chief Marketing Officer LON ROSEN. “The combination of the two talents over the past 12 years has provided DODGER fans a thoroughly enjoyable journey through each and every game. We look forward to them continuing for many years to come.”
“I have been privileged over the years to call the DODGERS family and DODGER STADIUM home and my broadcast partner my friend,” said MONDAY, who has been calling DODGER games for 24 seasons and played for the DODGERS, A'S, and CUBS. “I’m really looking forward to continuing this great experience with all of our wonderful fans.”
“From the time I was seven years of age, back when the DODGERS were in BROOKLYN, all I ever wanted to be was an announcer for the DODGERS,” said STEINER, the former ESPN and NEW YORK YANKEES sportscaster. “And to continue on in a place that I love, with a partner who is a good friend, and spending the last dozen years with VIN (SCULLY), there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t pinch myself."
