RTDNA Sets 'Murrow Meetups'

The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS ASSOCIATION (RTDNA) is holding a series of "MURROW MeetUps" across the country to bring electronic journalists together and to give regional EDWARD R. MURROW Award winners their plaques.

Dates have already been set for COLUMBUS, OH (5/15), DENVER (5/19), LANSING (5/22), NEW ORLEANS (6/3), PHOENIX and MINNEAPOLIS (6/9), INDIANAPOLIS (6/21), and SEATTLE (6/23).  Also on the list of meetups are SAN FRANCISCO, DALLAS, BIRMINGHAM, BOSTON, NEW YORK, WASHINGTON, ATLANTA, and FORT MYERS.

"MURROW Meetups are a fun way to gather with our friends at the local level, to help us represent our mission and what people know us for," said RTDNF Trustee JANICE GIN. "We hope people will come along, pick up an award or two and enjoy a relaxing time mingling with other journalists from the area."

Regional MURROW winners are encouraged to RSVP to their regional director.
