Westwood One Disputes Radio's 'Problem' With Millennials

WESTWOOD ONE Chief Marketing Officer PIERRE BOUVARD doubles down on his previous post on the WESTWOOD ONE blog (NET NEWS 4/25) that disputes the advertiser perception that Millennials aren't spending as much time with AM/FM radio, a sentiment recently polled from 305 marketers and agencies.
The perception: Six out of 10 polled marketers/agencies believe radio listening is dropping among 18- to 34-year-olds. The reality: Radio listening is up 11% among 18-34s, according to NIELSEN's MARCH PPM. "Once again, perception is not reality," BOUVARD concludes. Read the entire post here.
