STEVE "KID CRUZ" TATE has been named Country Correspondent for MOTOR RACING NETWORK's “NASCAR USA” weekly show; his segments on the show, hosted by ROB TANNER and produced by MARTY HOUGH, will begin airing on the show on MONDAY, MAY 8th. The former WXXL (XL 106.7)/ORLANDO personality joined MRN in 2007 in the NETWORK’s Radio Partnerships group and has served as a live-event producer for the NASCAR XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series.
“Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to spend time with some of the best artists, label reps, and programmers in Country radio,” said CRUZ. “Now, as Country correspondent for ‘NASCAR USA,’ I get to do more than just crash the party. I get to showcase the artists that help make this the most fun format in radio.”
“The addition of KID CRUZ to ‘NASCAR USA’ will give the show a new dimension,” said MRN President/Executive Producer DAVID HYATT. “His energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and his knowledge of the NASCAR and Country music industries makes him the perfect correspondent.”
