CMA Opens Balloting Season

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) has opened its balloting season and is now accepting online submissions for the 2016 CMA BROADCAST AWARDS for Broadcast Personality, Station, and National Broadcast Personality Of The Year. Submissions can be made online here. Guidelines and instructions for entries are posted on the site, and submissions will continue to be accepted until THURSDAY, JUNE 30th at 6p (CT).
The 2016 CMA AWARDS nominees will also be determined by the more than 7,300 professional members of the CMA. Eligibility period for the 2016 CMA AWARDS is from JULY 1st, 2015 through JUNE 30th, 2016. All voting for "THE 50TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS" will be conducted online, with the first ballot and instructions set to be emailed TUESDAY, JULY 5th to CMA members in good standing who are eligible to vote. The first ballot closes on FRIDAY, JULY 15th at 6p (CT). The second ballot will go out on MONDAY, AUGUST 15th and will close on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24th at 6p (CT). The final nominees in each of the CMA's 12 categories will be announced later in the SUMMER.
Winners of "THE 50TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS" will be determined in a third and final round of voting which opens THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10th and closes TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25th at 6p (CT). "The integrity of the voting process is central to CMA's mission," said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. "We take pride in setting the bar for awards integrity and presentation. We constantly strive to maintain the highest standards in balloting and voting for the many honors presented by CMA."
