KUMT Off The Air In Salt Lake City

Just 2 weeks ago, ALL ACCESS reported that market programming vet MIKE SUMMERS had formed a licensing agreement with COMMUNITY WIRELESS to launch a Noncomm Triple A station in SALT LAKE CITY. Unfortunately, that agreement has fallen apart.
SUMMERS explained to ALL ACCESS, "we were unable to come to an agreement with COMMUNITY WIRELESS about KUMT. We had negotiated in good faith, and that's why we put our product on the air. We're not really sure what we ran into, other than, in the weeks leading up to that, their doner - BROADWAY MEDIA - had some concerns about how close our Triple A format was next to some of their other properties. We worked to try to address some of those conflicts, but not to the point that made the licensee happy. So they decided to go in another direction. We wish community nothing but the best with KUMT, and working to find another place for our programming."
