Minnesota Public Radio Newsroom Sets Unionization Vote

An election is scheduled for MAY 17th at MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO, where news employees are deciding to unionize, reports CITY PAGES.
The National Labor Relations Board has confirmed the election that will determine if the employees will organize under SAG-AFTRA. The move would not affect employees of MPR's Triple A KCMP (89.3 THE CURRENT)/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL. MPR laid off 11 newsroom employees last year.
