Ever heard of a college station giving away a new car? RIDER UNIVERSITY Classic Hits/Variety WRRC (107.7. THE BRONC)/LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ is doing just that.
The contest, sponsored by THE BRONC and TEAM TOYOTA of PRINCETON, NJ, gives a graduate of RIDER UNIVERSITY’s UNDERGRADUATE, COLLEGE OF CONTINUING STUDIES and WESTMINSTER CHOIR COLLEGE programs the opportunity to drive off in a brand new 2016 SCION iM.
Students had the opportunity to submit a two-minute video highlighting their RIDER experience, focusing on the topics of student/faculty collaboration or mentorship, development as a leader, involvement in the RIDER community, internship and professional experiences, the arts at RIDER, global and cultural experiences and community service/service learning.
Each video was scored by a panel of qualified judges who are active in the world of marketing and digital media. The students who produced the top 10 videos will receive a key and will have an opportunity to start the car following RIDER’s 151st undergraduate commencement. The student with the top scoring video will have the only key that starts the SCION iM.
Second prize is an NFL recliner courtesy of KILLARNEY'S PUBLICK HOUSE in HAMILTON, NJ. The top ten runner-up prizes include: a free oil change and tire rotation from TEAM TOYOTA and two free car washes at CAPITOL CAR WASH in LAWRENCEVILLE.
The winning student was ROSIE WEBBER, a Musical Theater major from Northport, AL. Her winning video featured an original song titled, "My Promise Is Fulfilled." Check out all of entries here, and ROSIE's winning video here.
