SiriusXM Covers 100th Running Of Indianapolis 500

SIRIUSXM will offer live coverage of the 100th running of the INDIANAPOLIS 500 from INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY, SUNDAY, MAY 29th on SIRIUS channel 212 and XM channel 209.

Coverage begins at 8a (ET), with pre-race programming hosted by PETE PISTONE.  Leading up to the green flag, SIRIUSXM will present expert commentary and analysis, plus interviews with drivers including this year’s INDY 500 pole winner JAMES HINCHCLIFFE, as well as SCOTT DIXON, RYAN HUNTER REAY, CARLOS MUNOZ and ALEXANER ROSSI.

When the green flag drops shortly after 12p (ET), SIRIUSXM will air the race live in its entirety, followed by a post-race recap and interviews.

In addition to the INDIANAPOLIS 500, SIRIUSXM will broadcast the FREEDOM 100 race featuring INDY LIGHTS at 11a (ET) tomorrow, MAY 27th.  The 100-mile race from the MAZDA ROAD  to INDY series features some of the world’s best young open-wheel drivers.  Leading up to SUNDAY’s race, SIRIUSXM will air rebroadcasts of historic INDIANAPOLIS 500s each day.  

On SATURDAY at 12p (ET), automotive expert and SIRIUSXM host DORON LEVIN will host a special INDY 500 edition of his show, "In The Driver’s Seat."  Airing on SIRIUSXM INSIGHT (channel 121 on satellite radios and on the SIRIUSXM app), LEVIN will look back at the history of the race and will speak with special guests including TEAM PENSKE owner ROGER PENSKE, who has the most owner victories (16) in INDIANAPOLIS 500 history, announcer PAUL PAGE and historian and author, ART GARNER.

SIRIUSXM’s BPM channel will broadcast from the INDY 500 SNAKE PIT and air performances by MARTIN GARRIX and ZED'S DEAD.  The performances will air on SUNDAY, MAY 29th at 10p (ET) on SIRIUSXM’s BPM (channel 51 on satellite radios and on the SIRIUSXM app).
