Arbitron Announces Nominees For Council Seats

The ARBITRON RADIO ADVISORY COUNCIL (ARAC) election ballots of 49 candidates vying for open seats have been sent to radio stations for three-year election terms beginning JANUARY 2007.
The 49 candidates -- nominated by ARBITRON radio station clients -- meet the COUNCIL representative requirement of bearing a title of GM or above and are involved in the daily operation of a qualifying ARBITRON client station or radio group in each of the following three categories:
Top 50 Markets
Continuous Measurement Markets, ranked 51+
Standard (Noncondensed) Markets, measured twice per year
All ballots must be received by ERNST & YOUNG by THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19th. The election results will be announced after the COUNCIL meetings OCTOBER 23-25 in HOUSTON.
