WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE artist BLAKE SHELTON celebrated the opening of "BLAKE SHELTON: BASED ON A TRUE STORY," a new exhibition at the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM (CMHOF) (NET NEWS 3/4). SHELTON performed at the CMHOF last NIGHT (6/6) at the MUSEUM's CMA THEATER and participated in a Q&A session with CMHOF Editor MICHAEL MCCALL in front of a packed house of fans and industry friends. The intimate performance included past hits such as "Old Red" and "Sangria" as well as his newest single, "She's Got A Way With Words."
He then toured the career-spanning exhibition for the first time, calling it the most surreal moment of his life. "I came to NASHVILLE in 1994, and I've always been fascinated by the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM," said SHELTON. "I remember the first time I walked in there, I was blown away. To have my own exhibit is more than a dream come true, because I never dreamed it could happen! It's crazy, is what it is. I couldn't be more excited or more honored than to be a part of the museum." The exhibition is slated to run through SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6th.
