Kudos to the participants of the 26TH ANNUAL CITY OF HOPE CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME for raising more than $200,000 for CITY OF HOPE yesterday (6/7). More than 30 music and sports stars took the plate at FIRST TENNESSEE PARK in NASHVILLE (NET NEWS 6/1), where TEAM iHEARTCOUNTRY and TEAM OPRY tied with a final score of 18 to 18.
YESTERDAY's game honored the game’s founder BRUCE HINTON, who was presented the "Champion of Hope Award" by BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP Pres./CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA. Those who were unable to attend the game can still support CITY OF HOPE; a variety of unique merchandise and experiences will be available for bid here, and the proceeds will benefit CITY OF HOPE.
