WUSL/Philadelphia To Hold Annual ‘Peace On The Street Jams’ Series
First Event Will Feature Kent Jones, PNB Rock, and Dj Diamond Kutz & Friends

iHEARTMEDIA Urban WUSL (POWER 99) has announced the dates for its annual PEACE ON THE STREET JAMS Presented by KICKS USA and COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA.
It's a series of free anti-violence live events and activities designed to promote peace and provide communities with the necessary resources to prevent violence. The live events are set for JUNE 23rd-AUGUST 25th and will include live music, spoken word and a performance by POWER 99’s own dance group THE POWER SQUAD.
POWER 99’s first of the PEACE ON THE STREET series will be hosted by the DELAWARE RIVER WATERFRONT CORPORATION on THURSDAY, JUNE 23rd from 6-8p (ET) at GREAT PLAZA AT PENNS LANDING/PHILADELPHIA. The featured artists will include KENT JONES, PNB ROCK, and DJ DIAMOND KUTS & FRIENDS. In addition, EDUCATOR, activist and cultural curator LYRISPECT will perform spoken word.
The 2nd PEACE ON THE STREET series event will be WEDNESDAY, JULY 20th from 6-8p (ET) at the DELL MUSIC CENTER, and the final event of the season will take place on THURSDAY, AUGUST 25th from 6-8p (ET) at the CHESTER PARK/CHESTER, PA. Event lineups for these series events will be announced shortly.

Local businesses supporting PEACE ON THE STREET JAMS include DELAWARE RIVER WATERFRONT CORP., COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA, PEPSI, and METRO PCS.
