WESTWOOD ONE "REAL COUNTRY" format PD GARY REYNOLDS has left the company, and WESTWOOD ONE VP/Programming Network Formats GEORGE KING has taken over programming duties for "REAL COUNTRY." "I had an almost 18-year run with the company that started out as ABC/DISNEY, then CITADEL, CUMULUS, and now WESTWOOD ONE. [Eighteen] years with one company in broadcasting is almost unheard of," shared REYNOLDS via FACEBOOK. "I've worked with so many great people along the way. And I've also worked with and gotten to know many affiliate radio station owners, managers and programmers. I'm gonna try to take it easy for a bit. There's baseball to be watched and poker to be played. And I'm excited about a possible new venture that I can hopefully share details on soon. Life is a rock, but the radio rolled me ... at the end of my rainbow lies a golden oldie."
REYNOLDS previously served as CITADEL and CUMULUS Dir./Country Programming for the company's network operations. Prior stops for REYNOLDS include time spent programming in DALLAS, ST. LOUIS and TULSA. Reach out to REYNOLDS here.
