The ILLINOIS BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION (IBA) announced its SILVER DOME AWARDS recipients for 2016 at its annual convention and Awards Banquet on TUESDAY, JUNE 15th. iHEARTMEDIA Country WEBG (BIG 95.5)/CHICAGO took home the SILVER DOME AWARD for CHICAGO Market Radio's Best Radio Station Use Of New Media for its "BIG ELEVATOR CONCERT LIVE" series with featured artist DRAKE WHITE. 

NEUHOFF Country WFMB/SPRINGFIELD, IL was awarded the Medium Market Radio Best Radio Series Or Documentary for its "50 YEARS OF LOVIN' OUR COUNTRY" as well as Best Radio Station Self-Promotion, Best Local Radio Broadcast Team for JOHN & ANDI IN THE MORNING, Best Hard News for "THE GREAT GRAIN HAUL, and Best Radio Station Website for "OUR VERY DIGITAL 2015 ON WFMB.COM." Also in the Medium Market Radio category, NEUHOFF Country WDZQ/DECATUR, IL scored a win for Best Radio Station Use Of New Media for "95Q SOUNDS OF SUMMER ROAD TRIP."

In the Small Market Radio category, GALESBURG BROADCASTING COMPANY Country WAAG/GALESBURG, IL swept the Best Radio Non-Humorous Commercial category with three wins and also landed two wins in the Best Radio PSA For Local Charity/Cause and a win for Best Radio Station Website. MORGAN COUNTY BROADCASTING Country WJVO/JACKSONVILLE, IL won in the Small Market Radio category for Best Radio Light Feature and Best Radio PSA For Local Charity/Cause. JOHN HOSCHEIDT Country WRMJ/ALDEO, IL also won in the Best Radio Light Feature as well as in the Best Local Radio Newscast, Best Radio Station Community Service, Best Radio News Reporter, and Best Sportscaster.
