The Alliance For Women In Media's Gracies Award Luncheon Set For New York June 21st

THE ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION’s 41st GRACIES AWARDS LUNCHEON will take place at CIPRIANI on 42nd Street in NEW YORK CITY on TUESDAY, JUNE 21st.

The event will honor local, public and student winners in TV, radio and interactive media. THE GRACIES support AWMF’s many educational programs, charitable activities, public service and scholarship campaigns that benefit women in media.

Hosted by ROBIN MEADE with RUTH B. performing, the GRACIES AWARD LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD will be presented to CUMULUS MEDIA News/Talk WABC host JOAN HAMBURG by ALAN ALDA. 

Other presenters on hand will include BLACK GIRLS ROCK! model-turned-entrepreneur BEVERLY BOND, NBC NEWS anchor ERICA HILL and body image advocate EMME.

GINGER ZEE will accept the NATIONAL GRACIE for Talk Show-Entertaiment on behalf of "Good Morning AMERICA."

Others expected to attend include CUMULUS/WESTWOOD ONE CEO MARY BERNER and President SUZANNE GRIMES, WCBS' MARLA DIAMOND, GREATER MEDIA BOSTON MAGIC 106.7's TINA GAO and SUE TABB, KEMP BROADCASTING Q106.9's NUDIA HERNANDEZ, WTOP's LORI LUNDIN, CBS RADIO CHICAGO News WBBM's FELICIA MIDDLEBROOKS, CUMULUS NASH-FM/NEW YORK's SHILA NATHAN, WUNC's ANITA RAO, CBS RADIO BOSTON's LOREN RAYE, WCBS NEWSRADIO 880's JANE TILLMAN IRVING, C-SPAN's MARILYN THOMPSON and WFAN's NEW YORK YANKEE broadcaster SUZYN WALDMAN.
