The deals made by TOWNSQUARE MEDIA in TUSCALOOSA have closed, and with it the format changes signaled by the transactions have taken place as of THURSDAY (6/30). TOWNSQUARE bought Classic Country WTBC-A-W261BT (CATFISH COUNTRY)/TUSCALOOSA, AL and Classic Country WNPT-F (CATFISH COUNTRY 102.9) /MARION, AL from JOHN SISTY ENTERPRISES, INC. for $550,000 and spun off Sports WDGM (TIDE 99.1)/GREENSBORO-TUSCALOOSA, AL and W265CG/TUSCALOOSA to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $100,000.
The Sports format has moved to the signal of WNPT-F as TIDE 102.9; the Classic Country format continues on WTBC-A-W261BT as CATFISH 100.1; EMF has flipped the WDGM signal to its Contemporary Christian K-LOVE format.
