John Riggins Returns To WTEM (ESPN 980)/Washington As Redskins Pre-Game Host

JOHN RIGGINS hasn’t been on the best terms with his old team the WASHINGTON REDSKINS, but he’s returning to the team’s radio station, RED ZEBRA BROADCASTING Sports WTEM-A (ESPN 980)/WASHINGTON nevertheless, rejoining the station as co-host of the REDSKINS’ pre-game show with KEVIN SHEEHAN.

RIGGINS will also be heard as a commentator on BRAM WEINSTEIN’s show on TUESDAYS, SHEEHAN and CHRIS COOLEY’s show on THURSDAYS, and RICK “DOC” WALKER and BRIAN MITCHELL’s “INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM” on FRIDAYS.

In a press release, RIGGINS, who once called RED ZEBRA and REDSKINS owner DAN SNYDER a " bad man" with a "dark heart," said, “I solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God, well, most of the time ... maybe ... I think. Oh, yeah, EL RIGGO  is back. And, that means the circus is back in town!!!”
