Participant Roster Nearly Doubles For Second IAB Podcast Upfront

The INTERACTIVE ADVERTISING BUREAU (IAB) has set its second IAB Podcast Upfront for SEPTEMBER 7th with a lineup of participants including ADLARGE, AUTHENTIC (the former PODTRAC), CBS RADIO's PLAY.IT, ESPN AUDIO, HOWSTUFFWORKS, MIDROLL MEDIA, NPR, SLATE's PANOPLY, PODCASTONE, TIME, INC., WNYC STUDIOS, and WONDERY. The roster nearly doubles the number of participants from last year's debut event; each company will offer a 20-minute presentation to agencies and clients.
“Consumer interest in podcasts continues to grow and the format offers the type of highly engaged, loyal audiences that advertisers crave,” said IAB SVP/GM, Mobile and Video ANNA BAGER. “Last year’s first-ever IAB Podcast Upfront was a half-day showcase that drew an enthusiastic audience of marketers and media buyers – and the expansion of the 2016 event to a full-day of presentations is a testament to the tremendous interest among marketers to tap into podcasts’ unique advertising proposition.”
