More than 30 people were arrested SATURDAY night (JULY 23rd) at the GUNS N' ROSES concert at METLIFE STADIUM in EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, according to a report on hard rock website BLABBERMOUTH.net.
NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE Sgt. First Class GREGORY WILLIAMS said a 30-year-old woman was arrested during the event and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer.
Among the other arrests:
* 9 disorderly conduct arrests
* 11 solicitation arrests
* 1 arrest for “open lewdness”
* 1 resisting arrest charge
* 2 arrests for simple assault
* 1 charge of harassment
* 3 criminal trespassing arrests
* 1 arrest for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.WickedLocal.com reported that two employees at GILLETTE STADIUM in FOXBOROUGH, MA, were arrested and charged with breaking into a fellow employee's car during the GUNS N' ROSES concert last TUESDAY (JULY 19th).
The men were charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property over $250 and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Four people were arrested and another 16 were taken into protective custody for intoxication during the concert, which was attended by 42,100 fans. At WEDNESDAY's (JULY 20th) performance at the same stadium, with 21,700 in attendance -- meaning the venue was half full -- there were a total of six arrests and five taken into protective custody.
