Jim Carnegie, Founder Of Radio Business Report, Dies

JIM CARNEGIE, the programmer turned publisher of the RADIO BUSINESS REPORT trade magazine, has passed away at 66 in FLORIDA. His passing was reported by friend ED SELLERS on CARNEGIE's Facebook page; SELLERS said that CARNEGIE died MONDAY (7/25) of natural causes.
CARNEGIE (real name ROBERT SEEMAN) was PD of KQV-A/PITTSBURGH for many years, then founded RBR in 1983. The influential trade was sold along with TELEVISION BUSINESS REPORT to ERIC RHOADS' STREAMLINE COMMUNICATIONS in 2013; he was most recently a consultant. His wife and business partner CATHY passed away in 2012.
