WUBU/South Bend Owner Abe Thompson Transferring Control To Partner John Dille III

FOCUS RADIO INC. Urban AC WUBU (MIX 106)/SOUTH BEND has a transfer of control in the works. Owners ABE THOMPSON and PHOENIX THOMPSON are selling their 51% of PARTNERSHIP RADIO INC. to 49% owner JOHN DILLE III. The price for their 51% stake is $336,500, payable in $150,000 cash, plus the balance of $186,500 payable in five years.  

Earlier this year FOCUS faced a deadline for a new antenna and tower. (NET NEWS 1/7) DILLE III already has local ownership interests in Country WBYT (B100) and News/Talk WTRC (95.3).  WUBU would be his 3rd radio interest in the SOUTH BEND area. To see a copy of the filing application, click here.
